Getting Started with Meditation

Mediation is a great first step towards resolution.

To prepare for mediation, consider the topics that need to be settled and discussed, including what you want to see accomplished during the process.  Feel free to bring any factual information that you feel may be relevant to the topic.   For example, in divorce mediations topics may include an inventory and valuation of assets and debts, bank, stock and/or retirement accounts, income and employment benefits, spousal support and parenting issues.  Documents to bring to support any discussions may include calendars/work schedules,  most recent pay stubs, last year’s tax return, the most recent retirement, brokerage, and credit card statements, appraisals of family assets and debts, and a budget of monthly living expenses.
